The BiodivRestore Knowledge Hub brings together scientific evidence and practical experience to help countries develop and implement national restoration plans under the EU Nature Restoration Regulation. Established in May 2024, it builds on the research projects funded through the joint BiodivRestore programme.
The Hub operates through two dedicated task forces, each focusing on a key function:
The Hub’s members contribute expertise in ecology, social and political sciences, and land and water management, covering freshwater, terrestrial, coastal and marine ecosystems. They come from BiodivRestore-funded projects, other Biodiversa+ projects and wider European research and restoration initiatives.
