The theme is “Knowledge and capacity to facilitate the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework”, and will gather speakers from the CBD secretariat, the European Commission, as well as members from environmental protection agencies and researchers from Biodiversa projects.

We are organising the kick-off of our newly funded projects on supporting the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems across land and sea. The 36 BiodivProtect projects are academically excellent projects, mobilising a wide range of disciplines, engaging many relevant stakeholders, and addressing various pressing scientific and societal issues.
