The Scottish Government’s Ecosystem and Land Use Policy Exchange Group provides a forum for direct discussions between those managing and leading Scotland’s Strategic Research Programme (SRP) on biodiversity, land use, climate change, rural development and agriculture, and forestry and the policy customers within Scottish Government.
The group wishes to make the wider European biodiversity research community aware of their research and invite strategic join-up where feasible. One example of join-up is providing information on similar activities being undertaken in Member States to help facilitate research for all parties.
Please see here the latest bulletin outlining progress on ecosystem and land use research as well as a high level overview of the Scottish Strategic Research Programme work packages and contact details of work package leads.
For any further questions on these opportunities, please contact the UK’s BiodivERsA representative matt.smith@jncc.gov.uk or the work package lead.
