BiodivScen in support of scientists with Data Management & Open Data questions
BiodivScen is pleased to announce the publication of the ‘Guidance document on data management, open data, and the production of Data Management Plans‘.
This document has been developed by the BiodivScen Data Management Working Group, comprising data experts from different institutions, and as a follow-up on the Data Management workshop organised in Helsinki in May 2019.
Its objective is to guide the BiodivScen-funded research projects through the writing and development of their Data Management Plan, with a focus on making their data and publications as open as possible.
It contains an overview of the main concepts and principles related to data, a list of helpful tools and publications, a series of good practices, a proposed template for writing a DMP, and many other resources to support scientists working on biodiversity & environmental issues.
