The database has identified over 250 NBS projects ranging from 2011 to 2021, among which 35 were (co)funded by Biodiversa. The database was used to perform an analysis of EU R&I projects in terms of types of NBS, societal challenges addressed, environments, and approaches studied. The NBS projects database is the second NetworkNature database created to support the development of the EU R&I roadmap on NBS. The first was a searchable database of knowledge gaps on nature-based solutions. A third database is being developed on publications and resources on NBS.
