Biodiversa+ is pleased to announce a new call for tenders for a knowledge broker to produce a series of four policy briefs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the scientific results from 22 funded projects under the BiodivRestore joint call into clear, actionable messages for policymakers. The briefs will focus on the conservation and restoration of degraded ecosystems and should align with the policy needs of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR) process and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Synthesise findings from the 22 BiodivRestore research projects.
- Draft four policy briefs, each up to 2500 words in British English.
- Participate in a clustering workshop in Malaga, Spain, on 22 October 2025 to identify topics (participation costs will be covered).
- Engage with a review group composed of project coordinators, the BiodivRestore support team, and end-users such as EU policymakers.
Candidate profile
We are seeking an individual or entity with:
- Experience in communicating scientific evidence to decision- and policymakers at the European level.
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills, with experience at the science-policy interface.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant EU policy areas and processes.
