During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the biodiversity monitoring needs and ongoing developments that align with the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
- Hear about tools and initiatives currently strengthening and harmonising biodiversity monitoring schemes across Europe, along with strategies for scaling them effectively.
- Explore ways to connect biodiversity monitoring schemes with the latest research findings, drawing from national experiences.
- Discover the latest advancements in European research and innovation (R&I) advancing biodiversity monitoring capacities and knowledge for policy and practice.
This policy forum is organised back to back with the BiodivMon kick-off meeting which will take place on 17 April 2024, offering a deeper dive in latest European R&I on biodiversity monitoring.
