Webinar: Aligning research and innovation with nature-positive objectives

Biodiversa+ is hosting a webinar to examine how research institutions and R&D-intensive industries can better align and connect their work with nature-positive goals, keeping in step with Europe’s biodiversity plans.

The webinar will follow up on the IPBES Business & Biodiversity Assessment and the Biodiversa+ Business & Biodiversity Toolkit by exploring what their findings mean in practice for research and innovation. It will combine scientific insight with industry perspectives on implementation. The talks will cover:

• opportunities for strengthening science-industry collaboration;
• current limitations, including data gaps, methodological and governance challenges;
• practical pathways to integrate biodiversity into corporate and R&D strategies.
