Nature-based Solutions projects are producing valuable knowledge, tools and implementation experience across Europe. The next step is making sure these contributions are visible, connected and useful for future European research and innovation priorities.
To support this, Biodiversa+ and NetworkNature are organising an interactive online session to help research and innovation projects engage with the European Roadmap for Research & Innovation on Nature-based Solutions.
Developed by NetworkNature and Biodiversa+ on the recommendation of the European Commission, the Roadmap provides strategic guidance on priorities up to 2030 and beyond. It aims to strengthen alignment among Nature-based Solutions projects, inform future funding strategies and support policy development.
During the session, participants will be introduced to the Roadmap, its goals and possible uses. They will also explore how to increase the visibility of their project results through the NetworkNature website and take part in a practical activity to map project outputs against the Roadmap’s action areas.
The session is open to all research and innovation projects working on Nature-based Solutions.
Two identical sessions will take place online, so participants only need to attend one:
- 21 May 2026, 11:00–12:00 (UTC+2)
- 26 May 2026, 11:00–12:00 (UTC+2)
Participants are encouraged to bring examples of project outputs, such as publications, workshops, webinars or other resources produced as part of their project, or since 2024/2025.
