Latest update (May 2026)
Following strong interest in the call for sessions, the Scientific Conference programme now includes 33 selected sessions. The next stage is now open, with a call for abstracts and posters inviting contributions from the wider community.
Biodiversa+ is pleased to contribute to the Nature-based Solutions International Congress 2026, taking place on 3-6 November 2026 in Paris, France.
As Nature-based Solutions (NbS) gain increasing prominence in biodiversity, climate and sustainability agendas, the event will provide a structured space to connect research, policy and implementation communities. It will bring together around 500 researchers, policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders from Europe and beyond. Featuring plenary sessions, thematic scientific tracks, interactive workshops and policy dialogues, the programme will focus on:
- Advancing scientific knowledge and methodological innovation on NbS
- Identifying conditions that enable effective and scalable implementation
- Strengthening the science-policy-practice interface
- Promoting international cooperation and cross-sector engagement
The congress is organised with the PEPR Solu-Bio programme, NetworkNature and other European and international partners. Through its involvement, Biodiversa+ reinforces its commitment to supporting high-quality transnational research and fostering dialogue at the science-policy interface. Closely linked to our BiodivNBS joint call and flagship programme on Nature-based Solutions, the event will offer a platform to showcase emerging project results.
