Biodiversa+ and ECA-Network have been proud key collaborators since September 2025. Together, they support capacity building to enhance knowledge and skills of knowledge holders to facilitate engagement in the production and use of Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) products.
The ECA-Network (Europe and Central Asia network of organisations engaging in IPBES) brings together the IPBES National Focal Points (NFPs) and the national biodiversity platforms working at the science-policy interface in the biodiversity arena. The network connects the scientific community, administrative and political actors, and other stakeholders across the wider region. Together with the IPBES Technical Support Unit on Capacity Building and the Open-ended Network of IPBES Stakeholders (ONet), it also supports the establishment of national platforms in the region.
