Latest update (June 2026): Registrations are now open for the Scientific Conference and NetworkNature Week. The call for abstracts and posters for the Scientific Conference closed on 5 June.
The Nature-based Solutions International Congress 2026 will take place from 2 to 6 November 2026 at Sorbonne University in Paris, bringing together the international community working on Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
Biodiversa+ is pleased to be among the co-organisers of this international gathering, which will focus on how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can be designed, implemented and evaluated to support biodiversity, climate resilience and societal needs.
The Congress combines two complementary events: the Scientific Conference, focused on research and evidence, and NetworkNature Week, focused on collaboration across policy, practice and stakeholder communities.

NetworkNature Week
2-5 November
NetworkNature Week will focus on collaboration and co-creation among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, public authorities and other stakeholders working on NbS.
It will include the NetworkNature Science-Policy Dialogue on nature restoration, the NetworkNature Annual Event 2026 “Futures with Nature”, the Cities Festival on urban socio-ecological challenges, and the NetworkNature Task Forces Cluster Meeting (only for Task Force members).
Registration for NetworkNature Week is free, with some events requiring registration upon approval or closing once capacity is reached.

Scientific Conference
3-6 November
The Scientific Conference will focus on interdisciplinary, participatory and action-oriented research on NbS.
The programme builds on a strong international response to the calls for contributions, with more than 110 session proposals received and 33 sessions selected. These sessions reflect the diversity of current research on NbS, with contributions expected from researchers working across different regions, ecosystems and societal challenges.
Registration for the Conference is open until 30 September 2026. Early-bird rates are available until 10 July, with reduced fees for students.
For Biodiversa+, the Congress is closely connected to its wider work on NbS, including the BiodivNBS joint call and the Partnership’s efforts to support research that can inform policy, practice and action for biodiversity.
Further details on the programme and registration are available on the Nature-based Solutions International Congress website.
