Back to key collaborations

BioAgora was launched at the end of 2022. The main objective of this European collaborative project is to connect research results on biodiversity to the needs of decision-making through a targeted dialogue between scientists, other knowledge holders and policy actors.

As key collaborators since March 2026, Biodiversa+ and BioAgora work together on four areas, taking advantage of their complementary roles.

Exploration of synergies to ensure coherent, coordinated and effective representation of the research community across the EU Biodiversity Platform (EUBP) activities and subgroups.

Establishment of a Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN) on Restoration, building upon the existing BiodivRestore Knowledge Hub, to improve knowledge exchange between science, policy and society.

Collaboration on updating the Stakeholder Engagement Handbook, a key guidance document supporting effective stakeholder engagement in biodiversity research and policy interfaces.

Development of a common communication strategy to enhance the visibility and impact of key biodiversity messages for policymakers, stakeholders, and the broader public.
