In June 2026, Biodiversa+ and RESPIN joined forces as key collaborators. Together, they are boosting the engagement of various actors in IPBES and IPCC processes.
RESPIN stands for REinforcing Science-Policy INterfaces for integrated biodiversity and climate knowledge and policies. It works to assess experiences and guide countries towards the development of science-policy interfaces.
RESPIN supports the integrated provision and use of IPBES and IPCC processes and outputs, and empowers decision-makers at different levels across the globe to uptake the knowledge and capacity-building provided by IPBES and IPCC. The project identifies knowledge gaps and develops strategies to address them. It also improves the engagement of diverse knowledge holders with a particular focus on underrepresented regions in Central Africa, Central Asia, and Latin America.
