As we concluded three intense days of work with our partners at our annual General Assembly in Sofia, Bulgaria, the European Commission released its latest Biennial Monitoring Report (BMR) on the performance of European Partnerships.
The BMR provides a comprehensive overview of the European Partnership landscape, highlighting their progress toward objectives and intended impact at both EU and national levels. These reports serve as evidence for strategic discussions on Partnerships, including their integration into the broader R&I system and the development of the European Research Area (ERA). Central to these efforts is the aim to enhance understanding and tracking of the added value and impact of Partnerships in supporting common EU objectives, both at the EU and Member State levels.
Ron Winkler, Co-Chair of Biodiversa+: “We are proud of what we have already achieved, and as we look to the future, we are paying particular attention to how we can increase our impact. We’re now about to embark on the fourth year of this partnership, and we’re preparing for the next and last instalment of 3 years with a review of our Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. We want to ensure the long-term sustainability of our efforts beyond 2028.”
